Role in AiQ

Anushka joined AiQ Consulting after undertaking an internship with us that involved looking in great depth at Disruptive Technologies on GSE operations Management. In her role as International Airport Consulting Manager, Anushka works on a wide variety of capacity planning projects in addition to providing business development and management support. She manages integration with our key strategic partners such as IATA, manages contracts with external suppliers and maintains our project management system including project proposals, company management system policies and more.

Anushka is also developing working knowledge of all airport processes, landside and airside. She has been heavily involved in projects including Amsterdam Schiphol Capacity Assessment, Heathrow T3+ Security Expansion Assessment, Leeds Bradford Airport Capacity Assessment, Heathrow T4 & T3 SSBD implementation assessment, Heathrow T3 Arrivals UK Border Force Refurbishment and most recently has been involved the Heathrow T4 Baggage System Replacement project. In this role she prepares schedules, baggage and Reclaim allocations, and design surveys for data acquisition and assist senior consultants and airport planners with preparing and delivering client reports and presentations, project management activities such as stakeholder engagement and project progress tracking.


Anushka has always had a keen interest in and a broad understanding of the aviation industry. Both her father and brother are pilots, her father a Captain on the A350 for Qatar Airways and her brother a First Officer on the A320 for Indigo, and both grandfathers were engineers for Air India.

Anushka graduated from Cranfield University School of Management, a world-renowned centre for Master degrees, as one of the best of her MSc Management course. Her dissertation continued this focus on aviation with analysis of the Impact of Disruptive Technologies on Ground Service Equipment Operations Management. It looked at trends in Ground Support Equipment, including electrification, GSE pooling, blockchain technology and more. She assessed the current use of Ground Support Equipment at London Heathrow (LHR) and other airports and the impact of disruptive technologies in the future.

During her AiQ internship she worked on variety of capacity planning projects gaining knowledge of airport infrastructure and processes and passenger activities, as well as managing the four-month project that formed the base of her dissertation. She also gained experience as a Strategy Summer Analyst at Kier Group, including research and analysis of new and existing markets, competitor analysis and daily market and risk monitoring.
