Role in AiQ

Enrico’s role as Airport Planner provides support for smart decision-making and the strategic delivery of capacity projects for our clients worldwide. It includes consultancy, the obtaining of data and the maintenance of databases, as well as producing allocation plans and driving conclusions from modelling outputs to provide decision-making support. Enrico also produces reports and presents findings to stakeholders, as well as working with our bespoke airport capacity planning and simulation software TransvisionAiR®.

Based in our Heathrow office, Enrico’s projects have included Budapest Airport Baggage Strategy, Budapest GSE Assessment and parking strategy, Heathrow Aiport T5+Airside capacity assessment and logistics strategy, Bristol Airport Terminal Capacity Assessment, London Southend Airport Terminal Capacity Assessment, London Stansted Airport New Arrivals Hall Capacity Assessment and Heathrow T4 Asset replacement mitigation.


Enrico has an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Politecnico di Milano, with an Erasmus experience in Supaero, and an MSc in Airport Planning and Management from Cranfield University, as well as Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering. He previously worked as an Aviation Analyst in Spain, looking at airfield capacity analysis, terminal capacity analysis, airport capacity benchmark, noise impact analysis and terminal procedures analysis. From this experience he has developed strong organisational skills, a logical approach and pragmatic methodology to problem solving.
