An experienced architect with a background in terminal planning and architecture, Mevin is passionate about spatial planning and capacity optimisation at airports. His role as Head of Airport Planning involves technical capacity planning, assessing process models and delivering tailored solutions to specific challenges. Mevin plays a vital role in design projects by leading a team of airport planners and analysts to forecast future demand based on historic data modelling and simulation.

Being a senior member of the team, he engages with stakeholders at all levels and also contributes to the continuous development of our bespoke Modelling Software, TransvisionAiR®. Mevin is highly enthusiastic about electric aviation and actively engages with forums of Urban/Advanced air mobility.

Mevin has over 10 years’ experience across a variety of industries including Aviation, Transportation, Construction and Urban planning. His expertise in Airport Operations, Airport Strategic Planning and Airport Terminal Design has given him the opportunity to work on projects at London Heathrow Airport, Leeds Bradford International Airport, London Gatwick Airport, Farnborough Airport, Budapest International Airport, Manchester Airport and regional airports in Saudi Arabia. Mevin has delivered complex projects covering areas such as Passenger processes, Baggage operations and Airfield planning with efficient solutions to suit the clients’ requirements.

He was fortunate to lead the design of a greenfield terminal and contribute to the development of a brownfield airport during his past role. Mevin’s understanding of construction logistics and mitigation strategies has enabled him to support long term projects including asset replacements at London Heathrow where protecting the operation was a priority.
