AiQ Consulting has been asked to undertake an assessment of the declaration capacity at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, the first independent assessment of its kind. Chris has joined the team in an independent capacity in order to provide his skills and experience in strategic airport capacity planning. He has a range of expertise in terminal facility planning, strategic capacity planning, passenger capacity modelling, aircraft stand and gate modelling, airport management of the capacity slot declaration and coordination process, masterplanning, planning standards and demand versus capacity management.
Experience
Chris’ previous experience includes terminal occupancy planning and capacity planning support at Manchester Airport; capacity planning process review at Dublin Airport, master plan capacity support and demand and capacity review at London Stansted Airport; and terminal capacity review and strategic capacity support at London Heathrow. He is an industry leader in airport capacity planning gained through over 20 years’ experience in a number of high profile aviation roles, including working with London Heathrow Airport as Head of Capacity. He has also worked with airlines and industry bodies, including Virgin Atlantic/Delta Air Lines and IATA, providing support on strategic capacity and capacity assessment.
